The Students' Union caretaker committee of UDUS, has commenced the assembly of UDUS sachet water to ease the affairs of scholars on campus.
According to the SU CTC Chairman, the sachet water was unveiled today by the Students' Union CTC Chairman, Shamsudeen Umar, noting that his priority is to worry for the welfare of scholars on campus.
In an exclusive interview with PEN PRESS UDUS, Comrade Muhammad Shamsudeen Umar said that the rationale behind the innovation is to ease the affairs of scholars on campus, noting that the water is an element of what the scholars consume most to survive within the sun city.
"We realise that students survive most on the water under this weather and with the hike within the cost of the sachet water, we decided to offer it an attempt, providing sachet water for students' consumption at a awfully low cost," he said.
When asked if the committee owns its water production factory, the chairman responded that they partnered with one among the factories within the town to observe the progress of the innovation before considering owning their own factory.
The Chairman continued, "As for now, we partner with one company within the town, 'Royal Table Water' to determine how things will go and the way far it can bring ease for the scholars and therefore the committee similarly before we establish our own."
Further more, Comrade Shamsudeen Umar also made it known to all or any Danfodites that the sachet water produced in their name 'SU UDUS (CTC) 2021 EXCO Water' and as a part of their achievement, is now available the least bit SU shops on UDUS campuses (main, city campus and UDUTH) at a awfully low and convenient price.
"As a part of our achievement, we've produced two thousand (2,000) bags of the sachet water and right from today, we've started distributing them to any or all the SU shops.According to him, the distribution ranging from the most campus to the town campus and also UDUTH, for college kids to get one at the speed of N5 only. He added that, when the sales move, we are going to extend the distribution to those shops at the mini-mart too, except for now, students should buy it at the SU shops, either cold or not," he said.
